was the contrast between the pale what dial surface and the brushed & bold indices. The solution RD devised is quite unusual, but it works in the proper context. Also, the white areas are a tiny bit recessed, adding some drama to the timepiece's face:...

in the surfaces than in the colours, I agree. Brushed vs. glossy lacquered finished surely increase the rather low contrast the colours provide. Best, Magnus

I was not that impressed with the original photos I've seen of this watch but these shots show so much more depth and warmth.
