The case is strong, but obviously polished. But hey, it is a gold watch from the 40s, what can you expect? But the dial is pretty darn immaculate, which is really the selling point for me. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.

I think if it was 36 mm or 37 mm, it would be more popular. I find the lugs give it a significant amount of presence though.

Although, this does not stop me from pining for that Rolex Killy that was just auctioned!
