I've got the first/'original' dial, but this one, with the black dial, is my favorite. Alas, no more.

and love it a lot. Will visit the factory next week and probably wear 5960P-016. It's not too much, it's not too little. This reference represents a Complicated (not Grand Complication) as its very best. Kari

This watch is gorgeous

I love the 5960P models and this black dial one is too rare on forums. Thanks for sharing, it is a great shot! The watch that help Patek boost its visibility and fame in the 2000's with great assets. Cheers, Mark

A nice shot of a great time piece

One question though; what is the power reserve hand indicating? it looks below the "-" mark.

The power reserve is a bit special...

 By: dr.kol : August 12th, 2016-13:13
On the right it's full and when power is decreasing, the hand starts dropping and turning towards left. The power reserve in the picture shows "soon empty". Best, Kari

Thank you for the explanation Kari

One of my favourite and useful complications.

Now we speak the same language.

I am currently wearing my 5960A and on Monday morning when starting my travel, I will change this one to 5960P-016. These two watches are similar but so very different. The great thing about the watches are the complications. Annual calendar is really use...

I am still dreaming about the 5960A

Unfortunately out of my budget range so I am trying to find faults with it to keep me satisfied why I wouldn't want it! It is not working so far.

Faults...

Yes, there is one. It is addictive and is pushing the other watches to the back corner of the safe. But let's hope you will have it one day on your wrist. Best, Kari

Thank you Kari [nt]

I had this one in the slate grey dial but....

 By: Kasey : August 12th, 2016-14:27
had to sell it as it was difficult (for me) to read the time. In a romantic restaurant forgettabout it!. This reference looks awesome and maybe easier to read the time without magnifiers. Very nice and congratulations.!

A killer watch!

Love the calm(er) design of the dial. And the very useful PR (although it has an automatic movement). Best, Thomas

With that watch on your wrist its really a sweet life.
