Probably the GP for me.

GP pros:
-Likely a longer-lasting design than the PF
-Beautiful blue dial yet that is subtle
-Cost less than PF, and can easily find preowned for further savings if willing to buy used
-Multiple sizes (38 and 42mm)
-More versatile than PF
-Not a look-at-me watch yet has many of the merits of watches further up the luxury ladder
GP cons:
-Perceived as in the shadow of AP, PP and VC sport watches (unfairly, IMO)
PF pros:
-Well designed, modern; unique styling that deviates from the mainstream stainless steel pieces
-Nicer movement than GP
-Thinner than GP and bracelet seems extremely well made and comfortable (no direct experience here)
-Unlike the GP, not perceived as a wannabe AP, PP or VC (and unfair perception IMO)
-More of a dressy piece but only if that's what you're looking for
PF cons:
-Relatively expensive and likely very poor resale (likely even poorer than GP). More expensive means you lose more in absolute dollars on resale.
-No seconds hand
-Less versatile than GP; much more flashy
-One size only (40mm), I believe....<8mm thick, which some people find too thin
-A much less well known brand (this could be a pro or a con depending on your perspective)
