except - there was at least one micro-rotor chronograph movement before, and it was even one of the very first automatic chronograph movements ever produced: The Breitling/Heuer/Büren Cal. 11 (image from the internet, all of them):




Of course, it lacked the refinement of the RD and it was in essence a modular movement (based upon an existing Büren micro rotor movement and an existing chronograph plate).



Its easy to recognise with crown and pushers on opposite sides (a consequence of the modular construction):

I consider the Roger Dubuis Excalibur line to be fresh, hip, bold, and ideal for today's modern man. The exploding Arabic numerals are to die for IMO. Cheers, Anthony
