Roger Dubuis Post-SIHH 2013 Event in Singapore

Recent Post-SIHH 2013 Roger Dubuis media event was held at the St Regis Hotel, Singapore.  Mr Goris Verburg, Managing Director of Roger Dubuis S.E.A, went through the product presentation of the 2013 novelties of Excalibur theme and highlighted Roger Dubuis is fully Poincon de Geneve certified.  After the presentation, some novelties were unveiled to the media members.

The star of this year collection is the 48mm Excalibur Quatuor.  The watch which took 7 years of research, and built with 4 spring-balances and 5 differentials to achieve extreme high frequency of 16Hz and first to house to in a silicon-case.  Available in two versions -  3 pieces in Silicon case and 88 pieces in rose gold case.

A video of the Excalibur Quatuor was shown.




During products unveiling, noticed the stunning pieces like Excalibur Round Table, Quatuor and Double Skeleton Tourbillon were not present. 
The Quatuor should be in Roger Dubuis at Harrods.
Hopefully they may be onshore in coming months.    However, they are in please refer to our SIHH 2013 report.


Firstly , the Excalibur 42 Skeleton Tourbillon ...

Fantastic work, pushing the skeletonisation to the max. Making it like an architecture  piece of work.

White gold case of diameter 42mm with respectable 60 hours of power reserve on a single barrel.


Side by side with a pink gold case...








Hand-wound movement - RD505SQ ... beautiful, with components appeared  in suspension.

A small detail, the cut-outs on the strap for ease of reaching the strap-pins enabling quick change of straps without scratching the lug-areas.



Next the 42mm  Excalibur Automatic ... comes in two case variations - stainless steel or pink gold.

Stainless steel case with steel bracelet. grey satin-finish sunburst dial with grey transferred Roman numerals.





 Automatic movement with micro-rotor, RD640, Geneva Seal, 4Hz and has a power reserve of 52 hours.




Next , the Excalibur Chronograph ...

42mm stainless steel case with beautiful blue satin dial with automatic movement with micro-rotor, RD681.




Another dial variation... in pink gold case.

Next is the smaller diameter 36mm Excalibur 36 Jewellery ...


Above piece is pink gold case and with pink gold bracelet.  ( Also available in stainless steel too).

Bezel is pave-set with 48 diamonds on the bezel ( about 0.99 carat)
Within is  an automatic movement, RD821 with power reserve of 48 hours.







Another variation with contrasting blue dial on satin straps.




Laslty, the Velvet High Jewellery ....

A fully pave-set piece in 36mm white gold case and bracelet.












 Within is automatic movement, RD821 with power reserve of 48 hours.








A variation of pink gold with diamonds pave set on the bezel and  lugs.
