Old Resonance!
With the unveiling of the Resonance 2020, there is actually a nice example of the original up for grabs in Sothebys right now.
Checked it out at a few days ago and learned that its was sourced from the original owner and was a safe queen for all these years. Its aged nicely and developed a pretty unique and attractive timbre and consistent patina on the dial. One of the richer hues I've seen on a Resonance. Lovely!

Wow pretty quick to patina?
Guess not really sure how long usually does that take - depends on face material etc
There seems to have been wide variations in how these dials aged.
Some aged very well and evenly, others not so much. Others show varying degrees of oxidation. I met a gentleman in the HK Boutique several years ago and his dial was almost uniformly brown. Really attractive in the metal. Keep in mind there are both YG an...
